in 2010, KGHM Shanghai Copper Trading Co., Ltd is a Whole Foreign Owned
Enterprise with 100% of capital owned by KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., worlds major
copper, silver and rhenium producer.
By
establishing an independent entity in China, KGHM Group, wants to develop its
brand in Chinese market to be able to compete with other global copper
producers. At the same time, KGHM (Shanghai) Copper Trading Co., Ltd represents
KGHM Group interests in whole Asia, as it is Group’s first subsidiary in this
part of the world.
KGHM
(Shanghai) Copper Trading Co., Ltd. presence in China and successful cooperation
with Chinese partners is also recognized as a benchmark for other Polish
companies. The Company fully understands its role in promoting the cooperation
between both countries.
